One place where I found most of these experts was Craftsy.
Craftsy is a worldwide craft community offering online classes. It also has a patterns marketplace where independent designers can sell their patterns; a supplies shop with great deals on yarn, fabric, and class kits; and a projects section where members share pictures of their latest craft successes. I have been using craftsy for the last two years, to put up my finished works, tutorials and lately for classes and just signed up to be their affiliate. The images I put up there got pinned a lot and also brought a lot of traffic to my site as there are a lot of like minded people who like to read and share stuff there.
The Craftsy classes I took were by the famous Kate Richbourg and I took up Micro torch basics and metal smithing at home. I Loved them and they inspired me to work with metal and thus was born the Dhathu collection. I had initially planed to incorporate soldering in it, but as most of you know, I fell sick and couldnt do so. But the day I take up soldering, I'll go back to these videos for advise. As both a teacher and a business woman, it takes a lot to convince me to pay for a class and I like craftsy for the following reasons.
2. There are forums associated with each classes where you can ask doubts and the teacher or other students actually answer you (I never expected to get my doubts cleared!!)
3.Most Craftsy classes are filmed in one of five Craftsy studios in Denver, where they fly in instructors, design classes step by step to deliver a HD-quality video that provides in-depth knowledge in the given craft category- from cooking and fine art to sewing and knitting.
3. The classes I took, came with downloable PDFs of the tools required, tips etc which made life easy for me
