Indigo was patronized by rulers from all over the world. From Byzantine emperors to Rajput kings, this blue colors with a hint of purple was a staple in their wardrobes. Though both Blue pottery and Indigo are quintessentially Indian, they give off a British vibe when put together. This may attributed to the fact that English designs were heavily influenced by Indian traditions during their colonial rule. In this necklace I have use silver foiled and compressed glass beads, silver spaces, ceramic beads, and a stone focal. Designed with a minimal yet bold aesthetic in mind the melange of these striking components is an ode to that era of design fusion
